The exhaust gas analyser for petrol and gas engines samples the exhaust gas of the vehicle under test through a probe inserted into the vehicle’s exhaust pipe. Using high-precision technology, it analyses the absorption of different frequency bands of CO, CO₂ and HC and determines their concentrations.

Oxygen and NOx values (optional) are measured using electrochemical sensors.

The instrument is equipped with a serial output for use on vehicle inspection lines for vehicles both up to and over 3.5 t. When used on an inspection line, it can be connected in RS mode without test result, making the vehicle testing procedure fast and intuitive.
