The VDX 499 smoke measurement chamber is an analyser designed to measure the level of opacity in diesel engine exhaust emissions.

Its technology, based on the absorption of a light beam by the exhaust smoke, ensures accurate and reliable measurement results.

The instrument is equipped with a serial output for use on vehicle inspection lines for vehicles both up to and over 3.5 t. When used on an inspection line, it can be connected in RS mode without test result, making the vehicle testing procedure fast and intuitive.

Like all the other devices in this product line, the VDX 499 opacimeter can be integrated into various configurations, allowing users to set up their gas and smoke testing station according to their specific requirements. It can also be integrated into existing stations in combination with the T100 trolley, ensuring a consistent and coordinated installation in workshops using VAMAG equipment.

EASY TO USE AND MAINTAIN

In addition to its integrated power supply, which allows the instrument to operate independently, the VDX 499 features an access panel on the front for easy maintenance of the filters. When closed during operation, the panel protects the filters from external factors, helping to ensure reliable operation of the equipment.

Connection to a PC is available via an RS-232 cable or the BT01V wireless module.
